I am a self-taught artist living in Los Angeles, for the most part I'm a classic style painter on canvases and masonite but lately I have been moving more towards the digital illustration, special since I got my iPad. I love the artists here on DA and I'm sure I will learn a lot from seeing all the awesome artwork.
In the pop surrealist movement I'm stirring the pot with my take. I'm inspired by artists like Jan Van Eyck, Hieronymus Bosch, and Mark Ryden. I create imaginative paintings that often contain a light-hearted mashup of societies foibles. My style is riddled with personal and profound symbolic imagery. I show my artwork in California, New York, Rome, Italy and Japan later in 2012.
